The Old State of Durbinia was a country in Alaxia. It dissolved in 13 and was replaced by the Republic of Durbinia.

The People's Faction received 9 seats, the Elite Faction received 15 seats, and the Monarchist Faction received 17 seats. Therefore, the Monarchist Faction won (17/41; 41.46%)

The People's Faction received 17 seats, the Elite Faction received 13 seats, and the Monarchist Faction received 7 seats. Therefore, the People's Faction won (17/37; 45.95%)
13 XY election[edit | edit source]
The monarchist faction implodes and the People's Faction wins a majority, with the Elite faction splitting to create the Trading Faction. The People's Faction received 31 seats, the Elite Faction received 12 seats, and the Trading Faction received 16 seats. (31/59; 52.54%). Thine, the Majority Leader of the PF, pushes for massive funding to irrigation and for road creation to small villages, and the Parliament agrees.
The Trading Faction is extremely unhappy because of high risk, and the trading faction leaders (high profile merchants) are terrified and contact other merchants outside of parliament. They form a coalition and boycott the capital city of Durbin,. Things heat up and the split government breaks down as the TF leave parliament and form their own governments.
The Elite faction is torn and dissolve, forming smaller parties but most side with the People's faction. The trading government declares the old illegimate and the monarchy is torn.
The current King Ago hates the traitors, but the heir to the throne Yugo, aged 17 years, sides with the traitors against the people.
Prince Yugo murders Ago to become the King; however Ago made it so his children have to vote for somebody not in the family to be the next leader if he was ever killed, and Ago had 9 kids. Yugo refused to vote, but all of them vote for Thine, the leader of the PF, to become King.
The old monarchy is abolished in 13 as Thine (aged 31) becomes President of the new Republic of Durbinia. The King's former kids form a council of nine with Thine the head of it (upper chamber of parliament) Compromise with Merchants to reunite the country, kept road and irrigation funding but cut taxes directly on merchant products.
