The Karkuss Oil Crisis, sometimes referred to as the Fazar-Karkuss War or Third Oil War was a conflict that occurred within the Pireta Strait between Fazar and Karkuss from May 2458 to October 2459. The event was significant in Fazar's attempt to secure the region under it's own influence, alongside the Fazarian Oil Company securing oil fields in the area.

Event
On 15 May 2458, the Kingdom of Karkuss announced that the disputed oil fields in the Pireta Strait, formally claimed by Fazar, had been invaded. The Imperial 2nd fleet had been moved under the cover of night and received aerial support from the 1st and 2nd carrier fleets around the oil fields. The prime minister of Karkuss stated that the oil fields were permanently under control of Karkuss and the illegal occupation from the great war had finished.
