The Ahitereiran First Division or Una Ya Kaicede, commonly known simply as Ya Kaicede or Da Kaicede, is the highest level of the Open Ahitereiran Katabola League System. Contested by 20 clubs with a system of promotion and relegation inside the Ahitereiran Katabola League (AKL). Seasons run typically from January to November with an interval in July and August, with each team playing a total of 38 matches (playing all other teams home and away). Most games are played during weekends and holidays, with occasional weekdays having fixtures assigned to them.

The competition was founded in the year 2386, initially as an invitational for some of the biggest clubs in Ahitereira organized by the owners of such clubs as to determine the best clubs in Ahitereira, it would evolve into a greater competition as by the second year a selection system would be created, and by the third year the creation of the Taş ya Kaicede and the start of the league system. The Da Kaicede is the oldest katabola league in the world and the most watched as well, being broadcast to all countries in the world, and having a potential audience of 3.8 billion people.

History[edit | edit source]

Origins[edit | edit source]

The Ahitereira Da Kaicede was founded in 2486 by KK Inista da Danoi's owner and player Fernãto Lãre with the intent of propagating the Inistan Rules. It consisted of a single division of 10 clubs (Vitoria KK, KL Esperiy, KK Inista da Danoi, Kuabé Jolliber, Kuabé Énainu, KL Vouche, KK Vereda, CK Mipot da Live, Gajonela KK and Altos Madalena). With the 2387 edition of the league, it would expand to 18 clubs (With Oiŗou da Gajo, Nuvatiralia, Kuabé Afĩda, KK Madalena, Maiņai, Ĩneucita, Barternik and Lopoş KK joining). The 2388 edition of the league would come alongside the creation of the Ahitereiran Katabola Association, which would expand the Una Ya Kaicede to total of 20 clubs and create the Taş Ya Kaicede, the second division of the league, with a total of 20 clubs as well.

The admittance of clubs into the league, to this point had been purely decided by a committee of Fernãto's devision, after 2390, this responsibility would move to the recently created Ahitereiran Katabola Association helmed by the founder of the league, who would create a new system of elections and admittance with the effort of democratizing the sport.
