Williamson administration of Empherias

The Williamson administration was the government of Empherias, the constituent state within the High Kingdoms of Alaxia, between 11 August 2500 and 26 March 2501. It was a minority government led by Prime Minister James Williamson as leader of the People's Socialist Party in a coalition agreement with the Green party, led by Deputy Prime Minister Georgia White. It was formed on 11 August 2500 following the resignation of previous Prime Minister Lucy King. At the administration's formation, the incumbent Socialists had 288 seats, a decrease of 8 from the previous 2499 provisional election and the Greens had 3 seats, an increase of 1 from the previous election. The two combined maintained 291 seats, 10 short of a majority.

The coalition agreement agreed in 2495, where the two parties combined reached 302 seats (a majority of 4 seats), was continued despite being short 10 seats of a majority themselves. This was done to avoid renegotiating agreements with other parties and to continue the stability of that administration. As such, Georgia White was re-appointed as Deputy Prime Minister. Lena Brandst also continued as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The coalition agreement agreed for the posts of Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Food, and the Minister of the Environment, to be given to Green party MPs. The previous Socialist appointee for the Minister of Food Flora Kennedy was reshuffled to the position of Parliamentary Undersecretary for the Food Ministry, while the position was filled by Edwin Stewart, a Green party MP. Further changes in the parliament include the resignation of the Minister of Justice Sophie Hopkins, the Interior Minister to Kiavalar Peter Sukelt and the Exterior Minister to Grensalbourg Anya Rettels - none of which were filled before the dissolution of parliament. There was no major reshuffle throughout the administration as it lasted barely a year.

The administration ended following the dissolution of parliament in preparation of the 2501 provincial election, which was a snap election called by the Prime Minister in order to solve the crisis of a minority government. There were no mayoral elections during the tenure of the administration.
