on 9 November 2462, Arkegyll, the 23rd congressional district of Empherias for elections to the House of Representatives of the High Kingdoms of Alaxia, held a by-election following the death of representative Zack Sutts of the People's Socialist Party. It was the first by-election held in HKA history. Turnout was much lower than the last legislative election.

The Liberal party did not run due to disagreements selecting the candidate, while the Nationalists did not run due to funding issues. The Green candidate Maya Promeif was very popular in the constituency and Duncans, the PSP candidate, did not have incumbency bias. Most of the right-wing vote flocked to the sole Conservative candidate who is also popular on the constituency level.
