The 2480 Nieuwbourg assembly election was held on 22 January 2480, to elect 50 members to the Nieuwbourg Assembly.
Bella Tuffen stepped down as Socialist party leader and was replaced by Kacey King. Em Leks Paar would contest her 5th assembly election (after the 2464, 2468, 2472 and 2476 elections) as Liberal party leader, being the mayoral incumbent hoping to extend her term to 12 total years. Mens Braun stepped down as Nationalist party leader and was replaced by Gordon Timms. Tom Gwardie stepped down as the Green party leader and was replaced by Rhys Esteban.
The Liberals received 16 seats, a decrease of 14 seats. The Socialists received 23 seats, an increase of 11 seats. The Nationalists received 6 seats, an increase of 2 seats. The Greens received 4 seats, an increase of 2 seats. Alliance received the remaining seat, while the Conservatives lost all representation.
