The 79th Government of Empherias is headed by Prime Minister Lucy King as leader of the People's Socialist Party in Empherias. It acts as a devolved parliament within the High Kingdoms of Alaxia. It was formed on 2 September 2499 following the 2499 provisional election where the incumbent Socialists won 296 seats.

Having won 296 seats, the Socialists were again unable to form a majority government, similar to the outcome of the 2495 provisional election. King considered a minority government, but decided to continue the coalition they had agreed with the Green Party during the 78th government. Georgia White, leader of the Greens, was therefore returned as Deputy Prime Minister. Under the continued terms of 2495 Coalition Agreement, the Minister of Food, and Minister of Environment were given out to Green party members chosen by White. Lena Brandst was once again chosen as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Many continued their roles from the previous government. New additions included: Tom Marshall, who was appointed as Minister for the Cabinet Office; Anya Rettels, who was appointed as Exterior Minister to Grensalbourg; and Emmelie Perri, who was appointed Junior Minister of the Media. No cabinet reshuffle has occurred within the 79th government as of 2500. Many positions in the Devolved Office are expected to change during the 2500 Mayoral Elections.
