Altoş Otuda Rete (AOR) (Ahitereiran: altos otuda rete, English: Sublime Wrestling Entertainment) is an Ahitereiran professional wrestling promotion. A global integrated media and entertainment company, AOR has also branched out into other fields, including merchandise and film. AOR is the largest wrestling promotion in the East Alaxia, being the second largest worldwide. Its main roster is divided into three primary touring groups, Koneya, Fore and KGK (referred to by AOR as "brands"). AOR is available in more than 50 countries worldwide, in 35 languages. The company's headquarters are in Inysta, with offices in Horyuxia, Wynnoa, Karvalaar, Kessel, Jara, Danketsu and International City.

AOR shows are not legitimate contests but entertainment-based performance theater, featuring storyline-driven, scripted, and partially choreographed matches; however, matches often include moves that can put performers at risk of injury, even death, if not performed correctly. The pre-determined aspect of professional wrestling is publicly acknowledged by AOR Administration, with AOR branding its product as "sports entertainment", acknowledging it as dramatic theater.

The promotion was founded in 2432 as the Inysta Amateur Wrestling Confederation (IAWC), a territory of the Ahitereiran Wrestling Union (AWU), initially as a legitimate regulating body for amateur wrestling. Due to the extreme prominence of rigged matches, the AWU would suspend the IAWC from participating in nation-wide events, and by 2445 the IAWC would be ousted from the union altogether. In 2446 the IAWC would change names to AOR following a dispute with the AWU's ownership over the name. By 2492, the AOR would purchase the rights to the IAWC trademark, for reportedly "historical preservation purposes".

Company History[edit | edit source]

Inysta Amateur Wrestling Confederation (2432-2446)[edit | edit source]

AOR's origins go back to the year 2432, when Saria Ardakaş Sr. in cooperation with the Ahitereiran Wrestling Union would franchise his own territory in Inysta. Ardakaş was a known Inystan promoter, gaining his initial fortune by promoting various events in the city, primarily theater and circuses. Due to the high population of the Inysta region, the region saw a lot of success in its booking, with most wrestlers nationwide choosing to fight in the region simply due to higher profits and also a better share due to an early aggressive push by Ardakaş.

The first major dispute between the AWU and the IAWC would happen in March 2440, with Ardakaş being criticized for not holding any title matches with wrestlers outside his territory and for heavily withholding the AWU World Heavyweight Title to Melor Jõjõ, by having him defend his title solely against wrestlers from divisions below. Further criticisms would be issued towards the IAWC for unfair booking, rigged matches and often overly theatrical showmanship rather than athletic ability, with most bookmakers eventually refusing bets on IAWC matches.

In January 2443, the IAWC would create its own title, the IAWC World Heavyweight Title, which Melor Jõjõ would win in a tournament event while also holding the AWU World Heavyweight Title, which he would thereafter vacate and dispose, at the order of Ardakaş. This would infuriate the AWU which saw itself suddenly without any championship and as a result would begin the process of ousting the IAWC from the wrestling union. The IAWC would be forced to leave the union by 2446, due to a class-action lawsuit by the AWU, which through this would keep the IAWC trademarks, branding and the IAWC title, forcing the IAWC to completely change all of its brand assets. Being forced to admit to rigging matches as part of the legal suit issued by the AWU, Ardakaş would choose to highlight the entertainment rather than the sport, this being reflected in the new name Sublime Wrestling Entertainment (AOR). Ardakaş would further highlight the theatrics and showmanship, with various wrestlers engaging in flamboyant gimmicks, costumes and mannerisms.

The Silver Age (2446-2462)[edit | edit source]

Despite the loss of the IAWC name, AOR's momentum didn't stop, with Ardakaş continuing its expansion in Inysta, and hosting various high caliber events with talent from the AWU. The AOR would also create its own versions of every AWU belt, claiming their legacy as well. The AOR would also create two new divisions, the Women's Division and the Tag Team Division, hoping that through this he would be able to use various wrestlers that couldn't captivate an audience on their own, as well as providing a platform for the various female athletes interested in the sport.
