The Evergreen Party was a political party in Empherias. It evolved from the liberalism wing of the Rhetorist and Democratic parties throughout the 2100s–2200s. The classical wing, sometimes referred to as the Holtite faction, evolved from prime ministers Edwin Holt and Theodore Holt, and helped start their first age of domination in Empheri politics. The Georginas faction grew out of father and son prime ministerial duo John Edward and James Edward and pushed the party from primarily economic liberalism to also social liberalism and progressivism and opposed Conservative party policy. Isaac Campbell followed successful Evergreen prime minister Maria Alexandria and began a sixty year dominance that transformed the political landscape, led by the sensibly named Campbellite faction. Them, alongside Edgard Merigold and Spencer Young, oversaw the beginning of industrialisation, a huge amount of progressive policies, an opening of peaceful diplomacy, the growth of Wynnoa, and great economic growth. However, an aging party elite saw the Evergreens downfall in the mid–2300s. The party dissolved as the Liberal party overtook their place as the major left-wing political party and important members switched allegiances.
