Lewis Kirkpats-Leiseur (3 August 2432 - 12 November 2469, aged 37) was a disgraced Empheri politician who served as a Member of Parliament for the People's Socialist Party from 12 September 2463 until his suspension on 3 July 2464. He is famous for his chaotic lifestyle and political scandal.

Showing promise in childhood, Kirkpats-Leiseur studied political science and joined the Socialist party youth programme. He was selected to be put on the party list in the 2463 election which saw a great success for the incumbent Socialists. Both he, and his politically active sister, Veronica, were elected. On 8 October 2463, he was treated at a Georgina hospital for reportedly jumping out of a third story window in a skyscraper in the capital city, which he survived with some injuries. However, after the fall, he began acting more crazy and erratic than ever. After several months of annoyance, and an incident where his speech to parliament devolved into screaming animal noises and making weird gestures, he was suspended from parliament for a week. After his admittance back, he was reported to have been making a lot of noise and banging in the parliamentary cafeteria before being discovered eating out-of-date meat on the floor. He was permanently suspended by parliament on 3 July 2464, with the Socialists issuing a statement stating they had no connections with the candidate who had 'an accident that could not have been predicted when he was elected'. Kirkpats-Leiseur was then admitted to a mental asylum the following week. His position as Socialist MEP was filled by John Clerk, a non-controversial candidate from Irongeise.

After six months in the mental asylum, Kirkpats-Leiseur and his newly-wed sister Veronica Nymbatz hatched a plan to help him escape - which takes place on 23 January 2465. Following this, authorities were called as Lewis fled the country to Palakkinen. Nymbatz briefly spent two weeks in prison but was let go due to lack of evidence, good behaviour, and the fact that they didn't consider it to be a crime worthy enough of the space she was taking up. However, because of her time in prison, the Socialists removed her whip and disassociated with her on 29 January 2465. She remained as an independent MEP until her resignation on 9 February 2465, with her position filled by new Socialist MEP Lily-Rose Moore.

Kirkpats-Leiseur avoided captivity due to the Empheri police not bothering with investigating in a foreign country as he was unlikely to cause any major trouble or damage. Eventually, he lived in hiding - speculated to have lived in a cave near the northern mountains of the country - before returning to Empherias some time in early 2469. He met with his sister on 1 July 2469 as reported by several newspapers but was not followed up with a police investigation or arrest. He was admitted to Rosetta Royal Hospital later that month, still with insanity, but was subdued with some medicine. He had developed several issues with his body following the fall and living as a hermit - notably, he had maintained several broken bones for five years, had what is believed to be skin cancer, and worsening speech patterns. Doctors recognised that his liver organ was shutting down in early November and he passed away soon after on 12 November 2469. Some speculate that during his years of solitude, he drank alcohol heavily which led to having a bad liver, or that he had attempted suicide leading to permanent damage to several internal organs. He was buried in Wynnoa on 19 November 2469 in a private ceremony.
